Hello and thank you for visiting my page

I was first introduced to the benefits of Pilates following an injury when I lived in Singapore and  I am still enjoying them now - over 20 years later.  I often say that it's difficult to quantify the value of Pilates - we will never know what accidents or injuries we haven't had - I just know that I seem to have been very 'lucky' compared to friends who haven't taken up Pilates and at 60 I am still feeling great, able to live my life without restrictions , don't take painkillers or have operations or procedures pending and can still manage a handstand from standing if the urge ever takes me!

The journey so far has been great fun and so rewarding!    In December 2011 following two years of study and exams with Balanced Body in central London, learning to teach mat and reformer Pilates, I qualified as a Level 3 Instructor and created Mojo Vitality to deliver classes in the Mayfield and Tunbridge Wells communities.

Over the years Mojo expanded to include two studios, instructed at corporate wellness retreats, mentored instructors who have gone on to build their own Pilates businesses and taught select groups of competitive horse riders at Mayfield Girls School.   All this in addition to providing regular classes and private sessions in a lovely heritage barn in the East Sussex Countryside that I am proud to have lived in for over 30 years.

I work in partnership with clients' medical specialists, physiotherapists and osteopaths when appropriate and have worked with hundreds of clients pre and post op, following accidents and injuries as well as people rebuilding their  bodies when they have felt 'broken' from the stresses of work and lifestyle.     I am results driven and always encourage clients to bring Pilates into their everyday life by understanding how their bodies work and being 'mindful' of their movement.

Over time I added Pilates for Equestrians, Pilates for Osteoporosis and Pilates for Scoliosis to my 'tool box'.    Anatomy based Facial Yoga and Gua Sha Lymph drainage techniques are the latest additions and I am excited to bring these to my clients in my new Workshops and Retreats.

A love of travel and adventure has always driven me,  so now that our children have grown up and left home, my husband and I have 'flown south' and  built a second home in South Africa.  I am currently settling in and enjoying exploring  Africa until we head back to Mayfield in March 2025.  Until I my return all classes are being delivered online.

Loving Spa breaks as much as travel (who doesn't?) I have used Champneys Forest Mere as a wonderful haven where I can recharge and boost my skills for over 20 years.  I am over the moon to be able to host a Retreat there in January 2025 and look forward to arranging more wonderful retreats in Europe, South Africa and Asia in the coming years.

My classes are always warm, welcoming, friendly and fun.  Many friendships have been forged in the studio over the years and I am looking forward to seeing many more develop in 2025 and beyond.  I hope to either see you again or meet you for the first time very soon.
